So let's have to start and make sure You will need …

  • 1 medium sized tomato-grated to remove the skin

  • 1 onion-grated

  • 1 small potato-boiled and cut into ½ pieces

  • 1 tbsp soya granules-soaked in warm water for 10 minutes

  • 1 ½ cups water

  • ½ tsp of coriander powder (dhania).

  • ½ tsp garam masala (optional)

  • A pinch of turmeric (haldi).

How to make Soya Curry

  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai. Add grated onion and bhuno for 2-3 minutes till it turns golden.

  2. Add ½ tsp dhania powder and a pinch of haldi. Mix well.

  3. Add the grated tomato and mix well.

  4. Add the soya granules and boiled potato cut into small cubes.

  5. Bhuno for 1 minute and add salt and garam masala (optional). Bhuno again for 2 minutes.

  6. Add water. Bring to a boil. Cook covered on medium flame for 3 minutes.

  7. Uncover, stir for half a minutes and remove from flame.

  8. Serve with roti or puri.
